'Kate's been a loyal customer to us for years. She wore a Reiss dress for her engagement photos and has the Olivia - a white coat with black buttons,' an insider at the store said.

'But no one had seen her come in to buy the dress.


'She might have bought it a while ago when it first came out at the beginning of the season.'

'We were all very excited.'
Kate fans who can't raise £600 to buy their own version of the Reiss dress from eBay should take heart from news just in from Reiss that the Shola bandage dress will be soon be restocked across its stores and online.


The dress will be available to buy 'in a matter of weeks, not months' said the insider, hinting that the camel Shola could be available to buy before June is out.

Busy Month of June for William and Kate

Before the big Canadian tour at the end of June, the couple will attend several high profile public events. There is Trooping the Colour on June 11. Kate, in formal get-up including a hat, will travel down the Mall in a carriage, while William, in his Irish Guards uniform, complete with a bearskin, is expected to ride a horse. It will end with their triumphant  return to the Palace balcony.

Then there are the 90th birthday celebrations for the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle, and Garter Day on June 13, with a procession at Windsor and service at St George’s Chapel for those, including William, who hold Britain’s highest order of chivalry, the Order of the Garter.

She is also said to be polishing her French for their tour of Canada, which begins on June 30. She is very much aware that the nation’s sizeable French-speaking population will judge her on her accent and command of the language — the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William are all fluent.

It's her first Royal engagement since her honeymoon.

So perhaps nerves have got the better of Catherine Middleton, who looked slimmer than ever when she met the Obamas at Buckingham Palace today.

Catherine, 29, showed off her tan in a knee-length shift dress by favoured label Reiss and a Maude clutch by Anya Hindmarch Bespoke.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are back on home turf after their idyllic ten-day honeymoon in the Indian Ocean.

The newlyweds had a "memorable" holiday in the Seychelles and "thoroughly enjoyed their time together", a statement from St James's Palace read.

And the couple are "grateful to the Seychelles government for their assistance in making the honeymoon such a memorable and special 10 days", it added.

An eBay bidder has offered £80,000 for the spiralling Treacy headpiece worn by Princess Beatrice at last month's royal wedding.

On the eBay page the Princess has commented: "I've been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted.

"It's a wonderful opportunity to raise as much money as possible for two fantastic charities.

"I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have."

The beige creation proved such a talking point it even has its own Facebook page, with more than 140,000 fans.

By any reckoning, this should have been the month when Kate Middleton was en-throned as Britain’s unrivalled icon of style.

Yet a fortnight on from that glorious wedding, whose face adorns the cover of no fewer than five celebrity and fashion magazines, from Grazia and Heat to Hello!? It’s not Kate’s, but Pippa’s.

Even at the wedding, it was Kate’s head that wore the tiara, but Pippa’s bottom that caused an internet sensation.

So what’s a big sister to do, to tame these reckless younger rivals?

In Kate Middleton’s case, the answer is obvious, for there’s another naughty younger sibling who’d be more than a match for Pippa.

Judging by the pictures of Prince Harry ogling his sister-in-law on the Big Day, it’s not such a far-fetched scenario. Might we one day see Her Royal Hotness exchanging a kiss with His Royal Rebelliousness on the Buckingham Palace balcony? Now that would certainly be a double whammy to make Carole Middleton burst with pride.

Kate Says No Thank You to Lady-in-Waiting

Prince William and his new bride are to take a scaled-back entourage on their trip to Canada and California, in keeping with the ‘no frills’ approach they hope to adopt in their married life.

Kate wants to break with Royal tradition and dispense with the services of a permanent lady-in-waiting, and will ‘test the water’ by making the official trip without one.

Courtiers say they will take between six and ten aides on their debut overseas tour in July – compared to around 30 for the Queen and Prince Philip on their trips.

‘Kate is very low maintenance. She did her own wedding-day make-up and is confident doing her make-up for the cameras,’ said the source.

The Next Windsor Wedding: Zara in July

They call it the ‘girls in pearls’ page. And while the young aristocratic women who grace Country Life’s ‘posh page three’ don’t wear many pearls these days, they certainly tend to dress up.

Zara Phillips, however, is not one for conformity.

When she agreed to pose for a photograph to announce her engagement to England rugby star Mike Tindall formally, tradition flew out of the window.

The Queen’s granddaughter chose to wear jeans and a casual fleece standing beside her black labrador, Storm.

Queen Elizabeth Marks a Milestone

Thursday marked a significant milestone for the Queen – as she entered the history books as Britain's second-longest serving monarch.

On May 12 the 85-year-old royal beats the record of King George III, who died in 1820, after spending 59 years and 97 days on the throne.

The Royal Snub -- Fergie Dishes to OPRAH

The snub 'was so difficult,' the former royal said, 'because I wanted to be there with my girls... to be getting them dressed and to go as a family.'

She added: 'Also, it was so hard, because the last bride up that aisle was me.'

Ferguson revealed she was in contact with her former husband, whom she married at Westminster Abbey in 1986, throughout the day.

the Queen was so taken by the picture, taken on Easter Monday amid the bluebells in Windsor Great Park, that she agreed to publish it to highlight the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which starts today.

A passionate rider since childhood, the Queen’s relaxed pose on her small black pony belies her advancing years.

Prince Harry Chats With Charlize Theron at Audi Polo Challenge in Berkshire

Although his on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy was invited to the historic nuptials, the young royal looked to be getting on well with another blonde bombshell - Oscar-winner Charlize Theron - at a recent polo match.

The pair were spotted laughing and chatting at the Audi Challenge Polo Cup in Berkshire.

Their ease comes as little surprise since the 26-year-old has much in common with the 35-year-old South African singleton.

On the Thursday evening, a group of the young Royal circle  congregated in a bar (at The Goring) and were enjoying themselves heartily.

The festivities came to an end only at 3am when a young copper-haired reveller casually jumped off a veranda balcony, landing with a clumsy thump on a lawn 6ft below -- to roars of laughter from his friends. 

An onlooker said: 'Harry was with Pippa Middleton and Chelsy Davy among other friends for some pre-wedding drinks. 


'He was the life and soul of the party until the early hours.
